Know the move before you pay.

Active listings are ordered by their permanent Bid. A higher Bid ranks above a lower one. If two Bids match, the listing whose successful payment reached that amount first stays ahead.

A normal Outbid must increase the target Bid by 10%, with a minimum increase of $5, rounded up to the next whole dollar. If #1 is $100 and has no Shield, the minimum move to #1 is $110, not $101 or $105. Existing owners normally pay only the difference between their current Bid and the new total.

MakeThemRank accepts App Store apps, public websites or web applications, and public X profiles. The destination must be reachable, accurately represented, and safe for a general audience.

One external product can have only one canonical listing. We identify App Store apps by Apple app ID, websites by their normalized registrable domain, and X profiles by handle. Duplicate or misleading submissions can be merged, hidden, or removed.

Every Bid and Shield purchase belongs to an authenticated account. A first-time buyer verifies an email before payment; after a successful purchase, the same session opens the full account and listing-management view.

A short listing URL is a convenient route, not a secret key. MakeThemRank checks the signed-in account before showing receipts, private history, media controls, Share Cards, or Bid controls.

Only the current #1 listing can activate a Shield. A Shield raises the price required to take #1; it does not make the listing impossible to pass. The selector starts at No Shield.

A continuous #1 reign can use at most two non-overlapping Shields. The second becomes available after the first expires and costs 20% more than the selected duration’s base price. The count resets only after the listing loses #1 and later returns.

When #1 has an active Shield, its Protected Total is the current Bid plus the price paid for that Shield. A challenger must pay 1.2× that Protected Total. The complete Shield Break price becomes the challenger’s new public Bid, and the challenger does not receive a Shield automatically.

The former #1 owner then receives one five-minute Comeback Window and, when email updates are enabled, a Shield-break email. During the Window, they can place a fresh reclaim order with 20% off the entire new order. They must start secure payment before the timer ends; the first checkout opened becomes their single discounted attempt. The former Bid and Shield payment are not credited. A new Shield remains optional and is never added automatically.

Before leaving MakeThemRank, the buyer sees the listing, expected rank, new Bid, Shield duration and price when chosen, any Comeback discount, and the final amount due as separate lines.

A Payment Quote lasts ten minutes and never reserves a rank. The live board and Shield state are checked again when Pay securely is selected. If the order changed, checkout pauses and the buyer reviews the new amount before anything is charged.

A verified successful payment activates the new Bid or Shield and records the event. The buyer returns to their account, where they can open the direct listing page, see rank and click information, raise the Bid, manage eligible media, and create Share Cards.

Public product pages show Bid changes, the resulting rank, and when the move happened. Receipts, discounts, Shield charges, account activity, and private editing history stay private.

When an App Store app reaches #1, MakeThemRank refreshes its official Apple screenshots and shows the available gallery on the Featured Card.

Website owners permanently unlock media controls the first time their listing reaches #1. They can choose either a screenshot gallery or one video source: an uploaded video up to 100 MB, Loom, or YouTube. Saved media remains manageable later, but it appears publicly only while the listing is #1. Screenshot and video modes are never shown together.

Dodo Payments handles checkout and payment records as the merchant of record. A paid order buys an immediate competitive position or time-limited protection; it does not guarantee how long another bidder will leave that position unchanged.

Activated Bid and Shield orders are final except for a duplicate charge, a verified technical failure that prevents activation, or a refund required by applicable law. Shields are non-refundable even when a challenger breaks one early.

If a charge looks wrong, use the support details in the account or payment receipt and include the payment reference. We will compare the payment, quote, activation, and public board record. Bank disputes are handled through the payment provider and card network; their decision can override this policy where required.

Do not submit malware, deceptive redirects, impersonation, illegal material, stolen media, artificial click traffic, or content that misrepresents the linked product. Listing text and media must stay accurate enough for a visitor to understand what they will open.

MakeThemRank may hide, correct, merge, or remove a listing to protect users, enforce these rules, respond to a valid rights complaint, or comply with a legal or payment-provider requirement. Removal does not create a refund when the buyer caused the violation.
